K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, addressed a public rally at Parade Grounds, Hyderabad, on Sunday.

During the public rally, KCR spoke about the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. When asked which opposition party is the best, he said, “Both are more than worse, they are about centralising powers. They are not doing what they should do. I am very clear in my mind, we will not align with anybody, we will align with the masses of India.”

KCR also said, India needs to be changed and the change will start from Hyderabad. He further added, in order to change the politics of India, he is already communicating with other political leaders like Mamata Banerjee. With regard to this, he said, “I’m not doing this for the sake of becoming the Prime Minister. I’m doing this for the sake of a change in the country. I’m a warrior, not a beggar. Now I want change in Indian politics, I’ll do my best.”

KCR, the chief of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) will continue campaigning till the 4th of December. For the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections, he is nominated for the Gajwel constituency. KCR will compete against the BJP and the grand alliance of the Congress, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Communist Party of India (CPI.)

Telangana will witness the Assembly elections on the 7th of December and the results will be announced on the 11th of December.
