Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during a public rally on Sunday, warned Asaduddin Owaisi, an All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader, stating, the latter will have to run away from Hyderabad.

Yogi Adityanath, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, landed in Hyderabad on Sunday morning to attend the public rally held at Tandur, Vikarabad, Telangana.

At the public rally, Yogi Adityanath said, “If BJP comes to power, I assure you Owaisi will have to flee from Telangana the same way Nizam was forced to flee from Hyderabad.”

Asaduddin Owaisi, on Sunday night, responded to Mr. Adityanath’s comments and said, “It is my religious belief that Prophet Adam when he descended on the Earth from Paradise, came to India. Thus India is my father’s country and nobody can force me flee (sic.)”

K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) shares a good bond with Asaduddin Owaisi and described AIMIM as a friendly party. The AIMIM, which has influence in the Old City, Hyderabad, supports KCR.

Parties like the BJP, the Congress and the TRS are conducting campaigns in Telangana, ahead of the Assembly elections in the State, which are scheduled on the 7th of December.

The counting of the votes will be held on the 11th of December.
