New Delhi: Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has lauded the efforts of TDP leader and Union Minister Rammohan Naidu for securing ₹180 crore to develop Pushkar Ghats as part of the Akhanda Godavari Project. Highlighting the state’s tourism potential, Shekhawat emphasized the importance of enhancing key sites, including Havelock Bridge and Gandikota.

During the meeting, Rammohan Naidu requested the inclusion of the Arasavalli Sun Temple in the PRASAD Scheme to ensure funding for its development. He also urged additional support for Visakhapatnam, Araku, Amalapuram, Kakinada, and Rayalaseema to boost Andhra Pradesh’s appeal as a leading tourist destination. Naidu reiterated his appeal for more funds to promote tourism and requested aid for Simhachalam and Annavaram temples’ development.

Rammohan Naidu announced that the central and state governments are jointly organizing the Krishna Karnataka Festivals from December 6 to 8. This event aims to celebrate Andhra Pradesh’s role in Carnatic music and cultural heritage.

Accompanying Naidu, TDP MPs Daggubati Prasada Rao, Sribharat, GHM Balayogi, and Bastipati Nagaraju expressed their gratitude to Shekhawat for his support.
