After nearly 60 children died in BDR Hospital in Gorakhpur, a similar incident has happened again.
Around 49 children have lost their lives in just one month at Ram Manohar Lohia Rajkiya Chikitsalaya in Farrukhabad district.
The causes of the children’s death have been blamed on negligence and lack of medicines, including lack of oxygen supply.
A FIR was immediately filed against the chief medical officer, chief medical superintendent and the doctors in charge at the hospital.
SP at Farrukhabad, Dayanand Mishra reported immediate action will be taken against the accused after investigation.
A report was submitted by the district administration that states, 19 babies died during birth while 30 of the children died while being treated in the newborn care unit.
The FIR was filed after the report was submitted under Sections 176, 188 and 304 of the IPC. The arrests are yet to happen and the police has not addressed it publicly yet.
