Vijayawada: Yet another interesting development in the Cash-for-vote scam case, this time it is a hilarious development. Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘ Manavallu briefed me ’ goes viral!!
In the recent past TRS government released the audio tapes of alleged conversation between AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson to the Telugu Media Channel later the clips were sent to all the remaining channels in both the Telugu speaking states.
From the entire alleged conversation, a three-word phrase has become popular among the public. The phrase ‘Manavallu briefed me’ is now the most trending in the social media applications. Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao’s comment that “No one would use such dual language except Mr Naidu” provided the necessary ingredient to create the wildfire out of a tiny spark.
The phrase is now being used by some enthusiasts for creating Dubsmash videos. Dubsmash is a video messaging app allowing users to record a video of themselves in which they can dub an audio recording of a popular quote or song.
Facebook pages were started with the title ‘Mavavallu briefed me’ exposing the lighter side of the cash-for vote issue. A Facebook page called Political Punches came up with a remixed ringtone with the phrase. A spoof on the context is also making rounds in the Whatsapp messenger. TDP leaders are now warning to take action against the anti- campaigners.
