The Chief Minister of Telangana and TRS President K. Chandrashekar Rao called the State an emerging trend setter at the party’s plenary. He spoke of the several unique programs both for development and welfare of people that other states are planning to replicate.
Addressing the 17th TRS plenary session, KCR said from the Prime Minister to the CMs of different states have appreciated the TRS Government’s new and innovative schemes. He further added the schemes have shown a positive impact on the lives of people living in Telangana.
KCR recalled the initial days when the party was first launched in 2001 and said, “We marched ahead with self confidence and courage and with the faith people of Telangana had placed on us. We were successful in our endeavors, fought for separate Statehood, won elections on our own, and established ourselves as a party to reckon with.”
The CM further added, “Such is the impact of our programmes that people in neighboring States including Karnataka and Maharashtra have started demanding replication of the schemes in their respective States.”
KCR went on to talk about his recent visit to Bengaluru, “When I met former Prime Minister and JD (S) president H. D. Deve Gowda and former Karnataka Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru recently, they informed me that the people of Karnataka had observed some of the programmes implemented by the TRS government and its effectiveness, and were now demanding that similar programmes be launched in that State. The same is the case with the people of Maharashtra.”
He concluded by saying the success of the party is owed to the tireless effort of the Ministers and elected representatives.
