Hyderabad Traffic Police Issues Traffic Diversion For HMRL Construction

The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued advisory measures for commuters to avoid certain routes as the second phase of the Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMRL) construction begins. The Corridor 2 HMRL will connect Jubilee Bus Stand to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station.

The press release said, “Those commuters who intend to go towards Secunderabad Station via Musheerabad X roads are advised to co operate with the traffic police and use the below mentioned alternative routes designated for them to avoid congestion.”

The traffic police said those taking RTC X Roads towards Secunderabad Station will be diverted to Musheerabad X Road via Padma Rao Nagar and Chilkalguda Circle.

Vehicles traveling from Kavadiguda X Roads will go straight via Padma Rao Nagar and Chilkalguda X Road to reach Secunderabad Station. The release further added, “Public and pedestrians are requested not to stop their vehicles to observe the Metro Rail work at Musheerabad X Road to avoid traffic congestions. General public are requested to take alternate routes to reach their destination and cooperate with the Traffic Police.”

These traffic restriction will be put in place from today until the 26th of April.
