K. T. Rama Rao, Telangana’s Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister laid the foundation stone on Sunday for various development projects. The work conducted in different parts of the city will cost Rs. 57.63 crores.  

At the Musheerabad Constituency, KTR laid the foundation stone with Home Minister N. Narasimha Reddy, former Union Minister B. Dattatreya, BJP MLA K. Laxman and Mayor Bonthu Rammohan.

Among the projects, Rs. 40 crores will be spent to renovate and construct the dilapidated Maruthi Complex in Chikkadpally. The shopkeepers at this complex have been requesting for a renovation for years.  

KTR laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Bheema Maidan Community Hall at Kavadiguda. Another Rs. 96.50 lakhs will be spent for the sewerage line at the fish market in Musheerabad.

At Hindu Mahavidyalaya, cement roads will be laid in six divisions and will cost Rs. 4.66 crores. However, a mild disturbance was caused when TRS and BJP members got into an argument regarding the ruling party’s priority over the program.

KTR intervened and calmed down both the party leaders. They BJP leaders went on to take pictures with KTR ending the heated conversation.
