MEA Release Alert Against Overseas Job Frauds In Hyderabad

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released an alert to caution youngsters against overseas job frauds in Hyderabad. Recently, M/s Travel Point HR Solutions in Basheerbagh was accused of illegal overseas manpower recruitment.   

Hyderabad’s Protector of Immigrants Department from the MEA sent a letter to the Hyderabad police regarding the illegal business. In the letter, K. Madhusudhan Rao from the Protector of Immigrants department stated only agents registered under the MEA are allowed to recruit for manpower overseas.

The letter further stated M/s Travel Point HR Solutions was not one of the registered recruitment agencies. Mr. Rao asked the police to investigate and file a report under Section 10 and 24 of the Emigration Act 1983.

A senior official explained how youngsters can avoid getting trapped in these illegal recruitment. He said people can log on to the website https://emigrate.gov.in/ext and find the names of the registered recruitment agencies. One can choose from 1,200 authentic agencies registered in India. The website will provide all the information required to stay aware of the procedures of working abroad.
