Rs 9.98 Crore Cash Stolen From Hyderabad ATM’s

Hyderabad: In an unpredictable robbery, a whopping cash of Rs. 9.98 crore was found missing from the office of an ATM cash handling firm in Hyderabab’s Tukaram Gate area on Friday evening.

Immediately, the RCI Cash Management Private Limited firm informed the police and on their way through investigation, they realised that two employee’s from their firm K Lokeshwar Reddy and G. Praveen Kumar who were supposed to collect cash from the banks and replenish at the ATM’s across the city were missing. The duo collected the cash from banks on Friday and are said to be absconding since last evening.

“They falsely reported that the cash had been replenished. The two have not been responding to calls from their office since three days and their mobile phones are switched off,” said RCI operations manager G. Nagaraj.
“We are investigating the case and have formed special teams to trace the accused. Once they are nabbed we will know the other details,” said Tukaramgate inspector T. Laxmi narayana.
