On the day of Telangana Formation Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the State on Saturday. The 2nd of June is observed as Statehood Day and today marks 4 years since Telangana was formed.

The Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao also greeted his people in the State. Today, KCR will launch a number of schemes to mark the fourth anniversary. Telangana was formed in 2014 making it the 29th State in India.
Talking about the celebrations, Tourism Secretary B. Venkatesham said, “We are bringing the paramotoring festival to Hyderabad which is a first of its kind in the state. Ten expert pilots, who represented India in World Paramotoring Championship will take part in the event.”
The CM is expected to announce 50,000 jobs for the youth at the Parade Grounds. Major celebrations were planned and an elaborate set up at the Grounds for KCR.
