Vishakapatnam: Vizag will be witnessing a 111 feet Ganesha idol this year and would be the tallest idol by leaving Khairatabad Ganesh idol behind. More than 100 artisans are working to complete the idol before Ganesh Chathurthi.
The tallest idol is being decorated at VUDA Double Road of Old Gajuwaka, shows Ganesha in the Vishnu pose carrying the Shanku, Chakra and Gadha.
According to the reports, Bachala Trimurtulu, the chairman of Mahaganapati Yuvajana Seva Sangam, said about three truckloads of clay was brought from Krishna and Godavari rivers for the idol.
