BSNL To Launch Wi-Fi Services In 93 Locations In AP & Telangana


If you’re a resident of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana then you might be in for a good surprise as BSNL has now decided to launch Wi-Fi services in as many as 93 locations in both the states.

According to the plan, BSNL is set to set up Wi-Fi locations in 93 locations 58 in AP and 35 in Telangana, adding to the already established 79 locations. BSNL AP Chief General Manager P V Muralidhar confirmed the news.

This enables public to access the internet via Wi-Fi on their smartphones or laptops. The internet will be free of cost for the first 20 minutes in a day and later is subjected to be charged as per the usage. The user can only access free internet for a maximum of 3 times in a month.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is already 3G enabled and is accessible in over 450 towns with 314 in AP and 136 in Telangana. Mr. Muralidhar further said that they aim to provide superfast 3G internet to the rest of the mandal headquarters and also few important educational institutions which is set to be rolled out this year.
