Hyderabad: Telangana witnessed significant progress in public governance and development initiatives in 2024, according to State Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy. Speaking on Monday, he emphasized the government’s commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people with sincerity and transparency.

Minister Reddy highlighted the implementation of transparent policies in the Irrigation and Civil Supplies Departments, ensuring efficient governance. He noted that strategic plans are being carried out to irrigate more agricultural land at reduced costs, boosting the state’s agricultural productivity.

The minister, along with Komatireddy Venkatreddy, reviewed ongoing irrigation projects within the Nalgonda Lok Sabha constituency at Jalasoudha. The review focused on assessing project progress and addressing challenges to expedite completion. Public representatives, senior officials, and engineers actively participated in the meeting.

Minister Reddy reaffirmed the government’s dedication to delivering efficient governance and improving essential infrastructure for the welfare of the people.
