Four Pakistani terrorists had infiltrated the town of Uri in the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, killing 18 soldiers. Reported to be the deadliest attack on security forces, opposition party, and the ruling BJP demanded P.M. Narender Modi for immediate response against these acts.
On Wednesday, 28th September 2016, the Indian army, as a reply to the Uri attacks, conducted surgical strikes along the LoC. Seven different camps where terrorists were poised to infiltrate India were attacked by different Army teams, catching the Pakistan based terrorists by surprise.

The incisive attacks were filmed by cameras on drones, with data to be revealed later. Moving 2 kilometers away from the Line of Control, the Indian army went deep into the enemy territory and came back successfully before sunrise.
After trying diplomacy for two years and failing, this looks like a strong answer to Pakistan that India is not to be played with.
