Navjot Singh Sidhu, the former Chief Minister of Punjab, on the 16th of February, drew a lot of criticism and hatred for his remarks regarding the Pulwama terror attack.
Twitter and other social media platforms are flooded with posts against Navjot Singh for his comments, which, people deem, indirectly indicate support towards Pakistan.
Navjot Sidhu said, “It (the terror attack) is a cowardly and dastardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished.” He further said, “For a handful of people, can you blame the entire Nation and can you blame an individual?”
A lot of people expressed their views regarding his remarks, with #BoycottSidhu.

People demanded a ban on The Kapil Sharma Show, a comedy show of which Sidhu is a part, and boycotted him. There are tweets against Navjot Sidhu, with #BoycottSidhu.

The Pulwama terror attack, on the 14th of February, killed 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans. The attack is said to have been carried out by the Jaish e Mohammad (JeM,) a terrorist group based in Pakistan.
The JeM claimed, the terror attack was their doing and also posted videos and photos regarding the same. They also shared a video of Adil Ahmad Dar, the suicide attacker responsible for the Pulwama attack.
The bodies of the jawans were brought from the spot of the incident today and thousands of people gathered to pay tribute to the sacrifice the jawans made for the Country.
