The Woxsen University launched a unique, first in India, an international Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad. The launch has been in partnership with its partner university, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, Germany.
This CoE in Hyderabad would be managed by Woxsen University’s incubation centre-Trade Tower, along with scholars and industry practitioners. The main agenda of the first of its kind centre is to provide leadership, best practices, research, support, training of trainers and skill training for specific sectors. The centre would operate perpetually, contributing in skilling students and being one resource centre. The centre was established in partnership with industry to raise training standards, boost productivity, address emerging skill gaps, and align training and research with industry needs.
The CoE could be commercialisation, innovations, patents, published papers, pilot sample development, project/study reports, application development, among others, helping students in India. At HHL Leipzig, the CoE would be represented by dean professor Dr. Stephan Stubner and junior assistant professor and leader of the strategic entrepreneurship research group, junior professor Dr. Dominik Kanbach.
From Woxsen University, the CoE would be represented by Vice President Dr. Raul Villamarin Rodríguez, head of Trade Tower professor Kashyap Kompella.
