AirAsia on Thursday announced a lifetime of free flights across its global network as recognition for
the winners of Rio Olympics and Paralympics gold medalists.
CEO Amar Abrol stated that these athletes will be able to fly to any destination from the 120
destinations that fall within the AirAsia and AirAsiaX’s network in Asia, Australia, The Middle East
and Africa.
“As a token of our appreciation, we will offer a lifetime of free flights to gold medalists. Athletes
who won a silver medal would enjoy free flights for five years and those who got bronze medal can
use free flights for three years,” stated AirAsia CEO Amar Abrol.
It’s raining rewards for the winners at Rio.
