Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah is set to release the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manifesto, for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, on the 8th of February.
Initially, the manifesto release was scheduled for the 6th of February. However, due to the demise of the “Nightingale of India” Ms. Lata Mangeshkar, the BJP postponed the release.
The BJP unit in Uttar Pradesh, on the 7th of February, released a statement, which read, “The Union Minister for Home and Cooperation, Amit Shah will release the BJP’s ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ on February 8, 2022, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.”
Meanwhile, the BJP is campaigning in Uttar Pradesh with an aim to win the majority seats. Leaders like Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath, the BJP National President Mr. J.P. Nadda, and other leaders are visiting the districts of the State, to the campaign.
On the 7th of February, Monday, PM Narendra Modi addressed a virtual rally in Bijnor and urged voters to vote for development by voting the Yogi Adityanath Government.
The Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections for 403 seats are scheduled to be held in 7 phases, starting from the 10th of February till the 7th of March.
The results of the 2022 Assembly elections would be announced on the 10th of March.
