On Monday, the Singapore Consortium Ascendas-Singbridge and Semb Corp, the developers of Andhra Pradesh’s IT corridor in the Capital Amaravati, said the City would be a city of the future.
On Monday a MoU was signed between the Singapore and the AP government in Amaravati. Group president and chief executive officer of SembCorp Industries, Neill McGregor said, “We are very pleased to be given the opportunity to participate in the development of a brand new capital city for AP. The SembCorp Group supports growth through investing in conventional and renewable energy across India, including thermal power in Andhra Pradesh. The Amaravati project will allow us to bring our international track record in world class urban developments to create a vibrant city of the future in Amaravati.”
Ascendas Singbridge, who are also involved in the project, believe that this project will be a milestone and open new frontiers for the company’s future ventures in India.
