BJP leader and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley attacked the Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday. Jaitley lashed out at Mr. Gandhi after the President’s speech in Madhya Pradesh earlier today.
Mr. Jaitley’s Facebook post read, “Every time I listen to the views of Shri Rahul Gandhi, both inside and outside Parliament, I ask myself the same question — How much does he know? When will he know?”
He further added, “Listening to his speech delivered in Madhya Pradesh today reaffirms my curiosity about the answer. Is he being inadequately briefed or is he being a little too liberal with his facts?”
This comes after Mr. Gandhi accused Prime Minister Modi of waiving Rs. 2.5 lakh crores in loans of 15 top industrialists. The Finance Minister stated these claims were completely false.
Jaitley added, “Those who owed money to the banks and other creditors have been declared insolvent and removed from their companies by IBC enacted by Prime Minister Modi’s Government. These loans were given largely during the UPA government.”
Mr. Jaitley is presently recuperating from a kidney transplant he had last month.
