Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, on the 26th of May, Thursday, ordered all the government-run sports facilities to remain functional for athletes till 10:00 pm.
According to sources, the development came after a story in news media, The Indian Express went viral. As per the news report, In Tyaghraj Stadium, athletes were asked to leave the stadium by 7:00 P.M., for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer to walk his dog.
Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and Mr. Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, shared the news headline, “Stadium Is Emptied, Athletes Told To Leave So That IAS Officer Can Walk A Dog” In the tweet, the Aam Aadmi Party minister said, “News reports have brought to our notice that certain sports facilities are being closed early causing inconvenience to sportsmen who wish to play till late nite. CM @ArvindKejriwal has directed that all Delhi Govt sports facilities stay open for sportsmen till 10 pm.”

Notably, Mr. Manish Sisodia issued an order through a tweet, directing all sports facilities to be open till 10:00 P.M., in the National Capital.
