The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) nominated Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid and Sunil Gavaskar for sports awards. The BCCI nominated Kohli for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Honor.
The former Indian captain Dravid was recommended for the prestigious Dronacharya Award. The cricket association also nominated the legendary opener Gavaskar for the Dhyan Chand Lifetime Achievement Award.
Indian cricket Captain Kohli has been crossing a number of milestones in his career. He was recently compared with Tendulkar for his amazing show of skill while batting.
Dravid, on the other hand, has coached the U 19 cricket team and led them to a World Cup victory at the beginning of 2018. Gavaskar is a legendary batsman who was nicknamed Little Master for his spectacular talent with the bat.
