A 38-year-old, Genpact techie committed suicide by jumping from the window of eight floor of an MNC building in SEZ, Eco Space in Bellanduru near HSR Layout on Monday night. The techie has been identified as Gulshan Chopra, a native of Jalandar and was working as quality analyst at Genpact Software company. The deceased recently returned to Bengaluru after a weeks visit home in Punjab.
His family has said that the 32-year-old was engaged and his wedding had been set for November. Though he appeared depressed, he had not complained of any work tension or problems, they told the police.
In Bengaluru, Mr Chopra lived alone.
