The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to form the Government in Haryana after establishing an alliance with the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP.)

On the 25th of October, after a day long meeting, Dushyant Chautala agreed to share his winning seats with the BJP and help the Party mark the majority of 46 seats in Haryana.

Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India and the President of the BJP, on the 25th of October, officially announced the alliance of the JJP and the BJP.

Amit Shah said, “Keeping in mind the mandate of the people, leaders of BJP and JJP have decided that the two parties will form a government in Haryana together. The Chief Minister will be from the BJP and the deputy chief minister will be from JJP.”

While Dushyant Chautala is going to be the Deputy Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, the incumbent Chief Minister of Haryana, is expected to get the position of the President of the BJP’s legislative party in Haryana.

The JJP won 10 Assembly seats and the BJP won 41 seats in the Haryana Assembly elections.  With the alliance of the JJP and the BJP, the BJP will form a Government in both Maharashtra and Haryana.
