In a shocking incident, the granddaughter of Mr. B.S. Yesiyurappa, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, committed suicide, on the 28th of January.
Notably, on Friday, Ms. Soundarya Neerja, the granddaughter of Mr. B.S. Yediyurappa, was found dead at her home in Bengaluru. According to sources, the incident came to light at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, when she wasn’t responding after several knocks in her bedroom.
The 30 year old allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself. Ms. Soundarya, a doctor, was married two years ago in 2018. She is a doctor at MS Ramaiah Hospital, Bengaluru.
She was the daughter of Mr Yediyurappa’s oldest daughter Ms. Padma.
The Bengaluru police registered a case and registered under “unnatural death.” Notably, no suicide note has been found near her.
Meanwhile, Mr. Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister of Karnataka, along with his Cabinet minister visited the spot and consoled Mr. B.S. Yediyurppa.
