The daily cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) are under control with below 10,000 single day cases. With the 7,946 new Wuhan virus cases, the active cases stand at 62,748.
Notably, on the 1st of September, Thursday, India registered 7,946 new cases, with which the active cases in India were at 62,748.
On the 1st of September, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 7,946 new Wuhan virus cases, with 25 fatalities and 9.828 recoveries.
With this update, the COVID-19 infections decreased to62,748 active cases, 4,37,83,788 recovered/discharged cases and 5,27,911 deceased cases, till date.
Furthermore, the active cases comprise 0.14% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.67% with a 1.15% fatality rate.
The Wuhan virus cases were confirmed after conducting 2,66,477 sample tests, taking the overall tally of COVID-19 tests in India to 88,61,47,613, confirmed the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR.)
