The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination drive continues with full swing in several regions of India. Till the 18th of July, a total of 40 crore people received their vaccine against the deadly Wuhan virus. In the past 24 hours, close to 47 lakh people get vaccinated in India.
The Central Government is putting a lot of effort to create awareness for people to get their vaccination, especially when the nation is in threat of witnessing the third vibe of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19.)
Several state and union territories (UTs) government are also putting effort and organising several drives to ensure everyone (citizens of their respective) states/UTs take their vaccination.
It is to be noted, every age group from 18 years, are eligible to take vaccine doses, including pregnant and lactating women.
Meanwhile, currently, four vaccines, two India made and two foreign based vaccine against the Novel Coronavirus are available. Of the four, two India made are, the Serum Institute of India’s (SII) Covishield, Bharat Biotech Private Limited’s COVAXIN, foriegn based are the Russian vaccine manufactured at the Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory Sputnik V and the United States of America (U.S.A.,) import Pfizer Moderna are available and are safe to take.
