The Delhi High Court (HC) agreed to review the petition, filed demanding a postponement in the examination of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022.
According to sources, several NEET-Undergraduate (NEET-UG) aspirants approached the Delhi High Court seeking direction from the National Test Agency (NTA) to postpone the competitive examination for the year 2022. This year, the NEET-UG is scheduled to be held on the 17th of July.
In the petition, presented before the Delhi HC, the aspirants complained about the less time given for preparation to the students.
Furthermore, the petition was mentioned before a bench of Chief Justice of Delhi Mr. Satish Chandra Sharma, and Justice Subramonium Prasad, which would review the petition, listed for an urgent hearing on the 14th of July, Thursday.
Besides the time for preparation, in the fresh petitions, the aspirants also mentioned the flood situations across India, and said, certain examination centers located for certain aspirants are very distant, and would be difficult for them to reach amid flood situations.
The matter would be heard by the Delhi High Court bench, on the 14th of July, Thursday.
