Delhi Police Raid CM Kejriwal's Residence

On Friday, the Delhi Police raided Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s house and seized CCTV footage. The raid comes after the Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash alleged he was assaulted by AAP MLAs at Kejriwal’s residence.

About 21 CCTV cameras were seized from the Delhi CM’s house. The police reported only 14 of the cameras inside the house were working. The camera in the room where the alleged assault happened does not work.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Harendra Kumar Singh explained, “Going by the coverage by CCTV cameras outside the drawing room and in the corridor, we will try to understand the movement of people before and after the incident.”

He further added, “The time of cameras at the Chief Minister’s residence was running behind by 40.43 minutes.” The DCP also reported a forensic team was part of the raid and collected evidence.

The people who maintain the CCTV cameras at Kejriwal’s residence were interrogated. On Tuesday, the Chief Secretary Prakash alleged two AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal beat him up in front of Kejriwal. According to the Chief Secretary, he was called in for an emergency meeting on Monday night. The police stated the incident took place at around 12:00 A.M.
