Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 24th of February, took to Twitter and posted a tweet regarding the arrival of Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America (U.S.A.)

Mr. Modi said, “India awaits your arrival @POTUS @realDonaldTrump!

Your visit is definitely going to further strengthen the friendship between our nations.

See you very soon in Ahmedabad.”

This is the first visit of the U.S., President to India after PM Modi formed the Government for the second time.  Mr. Trump is scheduled to visit Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Ashram.

Mr. Trump along with First Lady Melania Trump would also address a road show in Ahmedabad with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Central Government, spent crores of rupees for Mr. Trump’s arrival in India.  ITC’s Chanakya Presidential Suite is going to be the residence of Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Donlad Trump’s daughter Ivanka and Jared Kushner, the son in law.  Donald Trump is scheduled to arrive at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 11:40 A.M., today.

 After visiting Ahmedabad and attending the  “Namaste Trump” event addressing lakhs of people at Motera Stadium, Mr. Trump is scheduled to visit Agra’s Taj Mahal.  As a welcome gesture the Modi Government organised authentic Gujarati dishes to offer with tea. Dancers from various parts of India were called to perform for the event “Namaste Trump.” event.

PM Modi along with Trump would reach Taj Mahal around 5:15 P.M.  Entry inside the monument of the 17th century would be closed to the  public from 11:30 A.M., on the 24th of February.

Donald Trump before leaving for India, addressed the media at the White House and said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a friend of mine.  I had committed to this trip (a) long time back. I will be addressing a big rally.”

Meanwhile, hoardings of the U.S.A., President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were put up in Delhi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah also left for Ahmedabad to welcome their guest, the President of U.S.A., Donald Trump, and his family accompanied by foreign dignitaries.
