On the 25th of March, Friday, the Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) Mr. S. Jaishankar, held wide ranging talks with his Chinese counterpart Mr. Wang Yi, in Delhi.
It is to be noted, the Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi came to India on the 24th of March. Ahead of the talks, Mr. S. Jaishankar tweeted, “Greeted Chinese FM Wang Yi at Hyderabad House. Our discussions commence shortly.”
This was the first public comment by the Indian Government over the visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister Mr. Wang Yi.
