Former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Tests Negative For COVID-19, Discharged Today

Mr. Siddaramaiah, the former Chief Minister of Karnataka tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 infection.

Mr. Siddaramaiah, a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) was admitted to Manipal Hospital, Bengaluru for the treatment of COVID-19.

The news of Siddaramaiah being Coronavirus positive was confirmed by his son on the 4th of August.

The news of Siddaramaiah being positive of the deadly virus came two days, after Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa tested positive for the deadly infection.

 

Similarly, Mr. Siddaramaiah tested negative a day after Mr. Yediyurappa tested negative for COVID-19.

On the 12th of August, the Karnataka CM tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus and was discharged.

Mr. Siddaramaiah would be home and would follow guidelines of COVID-19. While b being discharge, he extended gratitude to hospital staff and doctors who took care of him. He also extended wishes for all who through Twitter and other social media platforms, wished for his speedy recovery.

Meanwhile Karnataka is one of the worst COVID-19 hit states of India.

The State recorded a total of 1,96,494 cases of the Novel Coronavirus. Of the total 80,341 are positive cases, 1,12,633 recovered and 3,511 deceased.
