The world’s tech giant Google launched its United Payments Interface (UPI) payments based app called ‘Tez.’ The app much like Paytm will allow you to make financial transactions like receiving and sending money directly to and from their bank accounts. The app will also have services of bill payments and the user can link their bank account to the app to simplify things.
Tez’s app description reads, “Using NPCI’s Unified Payment Interface, money transfers are simple and secure with Tez.”
If you are worried about security don’t be, Google has secured Tez with its multi layered security and a 24/7 protection by Tez Shield.
The Tez Cash Mode is one of the best features of this app as it allows you to transfer or receive money immediately without sharing phone or bank account number. The technology uses ultrasound rays to connect the two phones with the microphone and speaker.
Tez is also not limited to English, it has the option of Hindi, Bengali, Gujurati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
The app will also be including a new feature after its release which will be payments through credit or debit cards.
At present, Google has partnered up with four of the leading banks in India, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and State Bank of India.
