The daily cases of the Wuhan virus also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) are under control with below 11,000 single-day Cases. With the 10,256 new Wuhan virus cases, the active cases stand at 90,707.
On the 26th of August, Friday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 10,256 new Wuhan virus cases, with 68 fatalities and 13,528 recoveries.
With this update, the COVID-19 infections rose to 90,707 active cases, 4,37,70,913 recovered/discharged cases and 5,27,556 deceased cases, till date.
Furthermore, the active cases comprise 0.20% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.61% with a 1.20% fatality rate.
The Wuhan virus cases were confirmed after conducting 4,22,322 sample tests, taking the overall tally of COVID-19 tests in India to over 88.43 crores.
Meanwhile, under the nationwide vaccination drive, India administered a total of over 211.13 crore vaccine doses.
