On the 7th of October, officials of Jammu and Kashmir security force killed two terrorists in an ongoing encounter.
The encounter took place at Sugan area in the Shopian district, South Kashmir.
The encounter between the security forces and terrorists started after officials cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The search operation was launched after receiving information about terrorists hiding in the Sugan area of the Shopian district.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police said, “Sugan Shopian encounter update: Two unidentified terrorists killed. Operation going on. Further details shall follow.”
The gunfight started on the evening of the 6th of October and is still ongoing.
