Maharashtra’s NCP To Contest Bihar Assembly Elections

Sharad Pawar led the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is set to contest the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections.

On the 8th of October, Sharad Pawar, the President of the NCP, said his Party would contest the Bihar Assembly polls, and released a list of its 40 star campaigners for the elections.

The party in a statement said it will share details of its poll campaign in the state soon.

The NCP president Sharad Pawar would be the Party’s key star campaigner for the polls.

Maharashtra Minority Affairs Minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik, party MPs Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare, Supriya Sule and Fauzia Khan are among the other star campaigners.

Elections for the 243 member Bihar Assembly would be held in three phases starting from the 28th of October.

The first phase would be on the 28th of October, the second phase on the 3rd of November and the third phase on the 7th of November.
