The Information Technology (IT) services company Tech Mahindra announced Mr. Mohit Joshi, the former Infosys President as the next Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) of Tech Mahindra.
Mr. Mohit Joshi has been appointed as the Tech Mahindra CEO under the Companies Act, 2013, for a period of 5 (five) years. The new CEO would take over from the 20th of December, 2023.
Mohit Joshi will take over the charge from Mr. C.P. Gurnani, the current MD and CEO of Tech Mahindra, and the tenure of Mr. C.P. Gurnami, is scheduled to end on the 19th of December, 2023.
The Tech Mahindra IT company issued an official statement in this regard and said, “The Appointment of Mr. Mohit Joshi, as Managing Director (Designate) of the Company effective his date of joining the Company up to 19 December, 2023.” The statement further read, “Mohit Joshi joins Tech Mahindra from Infosys, where he is currently the President. Mohit has over two decades of experience in the Enterprise technology software and consulting space and has worked with the largest corporations in the world in driving.”
