On Tuesday at the Airport Service Quality Awards 2017, the Mumbai Airport ranked number one for superior customer experience. The Airports Council International (ACI) announced the award to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
The award function ranked 1,953 member airports in 176 countries. For the superior customer experience award, Mumbai ranked number one in a survey done at the contesting airports.
The airport is managed by the GVK Group and the Chairman G.V.K. Reddy said, “We are delighted to be conferred with this award. In 2007, when we had taken over the complete operations of the airport, the ASQ (Airport Service Quality) score was 3.53 and in a decade we have got it to hover around 4.99 out of a maximum 5.”
The GVK Mumbai International Airport Ltd., is a joint venture between the Airports Authority of India and GVK led consortium.
