The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) 2022 aspirants demanded postponement of the medical entrance test.
It is to be noted, that the National Test Agency, recently announced to hold the NEET UG 2022 exams on the 17th of July. Complaining about the inadequate time for studies, students across India demanded the NTA postpone and reschedule the exams, allowing enough time for students to study.
The candidates set to appear for the 2022 entrance exam said they have only two months to prepare for the exams, from the date of announcement to the exam date. Concerned about the same, a huge section of students took to the microblogging site Twitter and expressed their demands with #PostponeNEET UG 2022, #RescheduleNEET2022, #NTand A. Soon, the hashtags started trending on Twitter, asking the NTA and the Education Ministry of India to postpone the exams.
Some of the tweets read:
Is @DG_NTA dumb they are giving extensions to jee candidates despite having multiple attempts whereas NEET ug aspirants get only one? Also between boards and neet, there is a gap of only 1 month. This cant is justified.
There must be an extension of 1 month. #postponeneetug2022

Points why 17 JULY date is unfair to Aspirants
-JEE MAINS has been postponed to June & July So Neet never happened before JEE
-Delayed councelling of 2021
