Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 6th of December, conducted a bilateral meeting with Pravind Jugnauth, the Prime Minister of Mauritius.
During the bilateral meeting held in Delhi, Mr. Modi and Mr. Jugnauth discussed various important issues for strengthening the bilateral ties between India and Mauritius.
Mr. Jugnauth and his wife are on a tour to India. On the 5h of December, Mr. and Mrs. Jugnauth went to Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. They visited the Mata Baglamukhi temple in Dharamshala and came to Delhi on the night of the 5th of December.
Pravind Jugnauth’s Militant Socialist Movement (MSM) party won the Mauritius elections last month and he became the Prime Minister of the Country.
Mr. Modi, over the telephone, had congratulated Pravind Jugnauth for his victory and invited him to visit Delhi.
Upon Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation, Pravind Jugnauth arrived in India with his wife on the 3rd of December.
