On the 25th of December, Saturday, Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, paid tribute to the former PM of India late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
On the 25th of December 2021, the Nation is celebrating the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Taking to Twitter, PM Narendra Modi said, “Remembering Atal Ji on his Jayanti. We are inspired by his rich service to the nation. He devoted his life towards making India strong and developed. His development initiatives positively impacted millions of Indians.”
Besides Mr. Narendra Modi, Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders also remembered the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Stalwart Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
President Ram Nath Kovind also paid floral tribute along with other union ministers like Mr. Piyush Goyal, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah and others.
Meanwhile, netizens also remembered the great leader and founder of the BJP Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee with #AtalBihariVajpayee, through Twitter and other social media platforms. Notably, the birth anniversary of Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee is celebrated as the “Good Governance Day” in India. He was also the first non Indian National Congress Prime Minister of India. He served as the PM of India thrice, in 1996 and then between 1998 and 2004. Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away at the age of 93, on the 16th of August, 2018.
