Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 1st of October, wished Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India, on his 74th birthday.
Mr. Modi said, “One can always see his passion towards empowering the poor and downtrodden. May Almighty bless him with a long and healthy life.”
Born on the 1st of October 1945, Ram Nath Kovind is the 14th President of India.
Mr. Kovind was a law student before entering politics. He was a Central Government Advocate in the Delhi High Court from 1977 to 1979.
Later, Kovind became an advocate of the Supreme Court and served there from 1980 and 1993.
Ram Nath Kovind started his political career in 1991 by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.) He served as the President of the BJP Dalit Morcha from 1998 to 2002. He was appointed the President of India on the 25th of July 2017.
