Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi will spend a day in Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. He is scheduled to conduct a number of programs.
In Itanagar the capital of Arunachal Pradesh PM Modi will launch a new 24/7 Doordarshan channel called DD Arun Prabha. The channel will be dedicated to telecasting the different North East States’ culture. This is the second Doordarshan channel dedicated to the North East after DD North East.
Modi will then inaugurate the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre in Itanagar at a lavish program conducted in his honor. He will go on to inaugurate Arunachal Pradesh’s Civil Secretariat complex in the State’s capital. Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the academic block at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Science.
After his commitments in Itanagar PM Modi will travel to Tripura. In Tripura the PM will conduct two rallies in an attempt to win the upcoming elections. The first rally will be held at the Santirbazar Town in South Tripura and the second will be at Agartala.
The elections in the North East will begin on the 18th of February. The BJP is working hard to ensure a clear victory in the Assembly Elections in the North Eastern States.
