The upcoming visit of Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has now been postponed.

According to sources, Mr. Narendra Modi was scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the 6th of January.  The decision is said to be in view of the rising cases of Omicron, the new variant of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19.)  However, an official announcement by the Indian Government and Prime Minister’s  Office (PMO) is awaited.

During the visit, Mr. Narendra Modi was scheduled to meet top leaders of the UAE and others and discuss bilateral relationships.

However, now the visit is likely to happen in February, considering the situation of COVID-19 and Omicron in the nation.

This is a developing story, more details are awaited.
