Rahul Gandhi Asks BJP About Their Manifesto

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi attacked the BJP for not giving a manifesto even after the Campaign for the Gujarat Elections. The Vice President has termed this as “unbelievable disrespect” to the people of Gujarat.

On the 9th of December, the polling for 89 Assembly Constituencies in the first phase will be conducted. The second phase is scheduled for the 14th of December.

On Twitter, Gandhi stated, “The BJP has shown unbelievable disrespect towards the people of Gujarat. Campaign is over and STILL no mention of a manifesto for the people, no vision and no ideas presented for Gujarat’s future.”

The Congress Chief Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala also retaliated at the BJP. In a tweet, he said, “Using ‘jumla’ (rhetoric) is only their (BJP’s) manifesto.”

Last Monday, the Congress successfully released its manifesto for the elections/ Some of the highlights of the manifesto are farm loan waiver, set up Indira canteens to provide nutritional food to laborers at Rs. 10 and a Special Category quota.

The Congress questioning the BJP for not releasing a manifesto has got a lot of attention on social media. The hashtag #BJPKaManifestoKahanHai (Where is BJP’s Manifesto) has been trending on Twitter ever since Rahul Gandhi posted his tweet.
