Rajasthan Political Crisis: BJP To Move No Confidence Motion During Assembly Session

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to move a motion of no confidence, on the 14th of August. 

The decision to do so was taken during a meeting of the BJP leaders.  The meeting was attended by senior leaders of the BJP and was held at 9:30 A.M., on the 13th of August. 

A senior BJP leader and former Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje said, “This (Ashok Gehlot led Indian National Congress) Government won’t last long.” 

The statement came a day before the special Assembly session in Rajasthan. 

Leader of the Opposition Gulab Chand Kataria said, “The break in the Congress will end in some decision,” 

Meanwhile, recently, Ashok Gehlot Government claimed to settle the matter with the 18 rebel MLA and Sachin Pilot. 

However, both Mr. Gehlot and Mr. Pilot have not met in person.

According to sources, INC leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra met Sachin Pilot earlier this week and sorted out the matter. 

In regard to this, the Rajasthan Government revoked suspension orders of two ministers and Sachin Pilot. 

On the 13th of August, the Ashok Gehlot Government issued notice and revoked the suspension orders. 

Avinash Pande, the Chairman of the All India Congress Committee in Rajasthan, took to Twitter and said, “After a consultative discussion, the suspension of @INCRajasthan MLA Sh. Bhanwarlal Sharma ji and Sh. @vishvendrabtp ji is hereby revoked.After a consultative discussion, the suspension of @INCRajasthan MLA Sh. Bhanwarlal Sharma ji and Sh. @vishvendrabtp ji is hereby revoked.”

The Rajasthan Assembly session is expects to begin on the 14th of August in Rajasthan.
