Ram Vilas Paswan’s Office Sealed Due To COVID-19 Cases

On the 19th of May, the Central Government sealed office of Ram Vilas Paswan, the Food Minister of India, after an official tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or CVOVID-19.

An officials order passed on the 19th of May read, “Due to one recent corona positive case found in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, it has been decided that the Department of Food and Public Distribution office at Krishi Bhawan shall remain closed on May 19 and May 20 for intensive sanitization.’

Ram Vilas Paswan has two departments under him, one is Department of Food and Public Distribution and the other one is Department of Consumer Affairs.

Mr. Paswan’s office is in Krishi Bhawan, at the Rajpath Area of New Delhi.  Rajpath area is also the residence of many union ministers like agriculture, rural development and panchayati raj.
