Afghan star Rashid Khan put up a spectacular performance against the Kolkata team taking the SunRisers Hyderabad to the finals. On Friday, the all rounder helped his team beat the Riders by 14 runs at the Eden Gardens.
Rashid kept the game going as his remained not out by scoring 34 runs out of just 10 balls. He went on to bowl four overs and taking a total of 3 wickets. He restricted the Riders to just 19 runs in all the four overs.
Khan proved his importance in this IPL tournament with batsmen fearing his bowling technique. The cricketer threw the crowd by a surprise after he hit two sixes off Shivam Mavi’s balls.
The SunRisers are now in the finals and will go up against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) tomorrow. The match will begin at 7:00 P.M., at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
However, this game will be the toughest for the Hyderabad team. The SRH team has played against the CSK team thrice. The SunRisers have failed to win even one single match against the Chennai team.
The first match was quite a battle with the CSK by the Kings beat the SunRisers by 4 runs. In the second match, the CSK easily defeated the SunRisers by 8 wickets. The two teams when up against each other in the first playoffs. The Hyderabad team scored a meager 139 runs allowing the Chennai team to beat them by 2 wickets.
