On the 27th of October, Wednesday, Superstar Mr. Rajinikanth met with Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, the President of India.
The meeting was held on the 27th of October, Wednesday, in Delhi. Mr. Rajinikanth visited Delhi to receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award. Ms. Latha Rajinikanthhis wife was also present during the meeting with the PM of India and the President of India.
Besides Mr. Narendra Modi and Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, the Indian Cinema Superstar Mr. Rajinikanth, also met with the senior leaders of the Union Government.
After his meeting, Mr. Rajinikanth took to his official Twitter handle and posted pictures from today’s meeting. He said, “I am happy that I met the President and the Prime Minister and received their congratulatory messages.”

On the 25th of October, during the presentation ceremony of the 67th National Film Awards, Mr. Rajinikanth was awarded with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India, presented the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award to the South Superstar Mr. Rajinikanth. While accepting the award, Mr. Rajinikanth dedicated it to his friend, mentor, co actors and his fans.
With this, Mr. Rajinikanth became the 51st awardee of the honourable Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The award given by the Government of India (GoI) is the highest honour given for achievements and excellence in Indian Cinema.
The 50th awardee of the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award (2018) was Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
Highlighting the front line work, Mr. Rajinikanth is now waiting for the release of his upcoming film Annaatthe. The film is set to hit the screens on the 4th of November, on the occasion of Diwali festival in India.
